What is prohibited
The following are strictly prohibited on LORE, whether shared as images, video, audio, text, links or in any other form:
- child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including computer-generated, drawn or edited material;
- any sexualisation of a person under 18, including sexual comments about minors;
- grooming, meaning any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for sexual purposes;
- sextortion, or threats to share intimate images of anyone;
- sharing or requesting intimate images of a person under 18, including of yourself;
- child trafficking, or promoting or facilitating the exploitation of children in any way.
How LORE is designed to reduce risk
- 16 and over only. Everyone must enter their date of birth at sign-up, and we refuse accounts for anyone younger than 16.
- No strangers. Groups are invite-only, invite links expire after 7 days, and there is no public search, no public profiles, no follower counts and no way to message people outside your groups.
- Report and block. Every Drop can be reported in the app, members can block the people who add them, group admins can delete Drops and remove members, and anyone can report a member or a React by email.
- Community reporting. A Drop that receives more than one report is hidden from the group automatically until we review it.
- No rating of people. Leaderboards and Episode results count only game activity inside a group, such as Drops added and Episode scores. LORE never rates anyone's looks, popularity or worth.
How to report
In the app
- Open the Drop and tap the … (More options) button.
- Tap Report. You can add a short note about what is wrong, then tap Send report.
- A reported Drop is hidden for you straight away. From the same menu you can also block the person who added it. They are not told.
By email
To report a member, a React, or anything else you cannot report in the app, write to safety@feedthelore.app with the group name, the member's display name and what happened. Do not send us or anyone else copies of abusive images. Describe them instead.
Outside LORE
You can also report child sexual exploitation directly to the NCMEC CyberTipline, to a national hotline in the INHOPE network, or to your local police.
How we respond
- We prioritise child safety reports above all others and aim to act on them within 24 hours.
- We remove prohibited content and close the accounts involved. We may also close the group and block the person from returning.
- We preserve relevant information as the law requires and report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the competent law enforcement authorities.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child protection organisations.
- We do not tell the reported person who reported them.
Legal compliance
LORE complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including obligations to remove and report child sexual abuse material in the countries where we operate. We review these standards regularly and update them as the law and our Service change.
